FAQs

Behaviour consultation process When a client books a behaviour consultation, you and the client will receive a full behaviour report, including management and behaviour modification training, within 8 days. You will also receive an email stating whether further veterinary investigation or input is required.

Initial behaviour assessment

If the client books the initial behaviour assessment (1h) via the guided behaviour pathway, you will receive an email from Dog Behaviour Help within 8 days of the assessment taking place if further veterinary investigation or input is needed for this case.

The summary you and the client receive after this initial assessment includes immediate management strategies they can implement to help improve their dog's behaviour. But it is up to the client to book their first follow-up, where I design and help implement the training plan for the referred dog. This allows clients to get started at a much cheaper price point and they decide when they are ready for further advice.

Please note for multi-dog household cases: To ensure I can provide a comprehensive and tailored behaviour plan for each of the dogs, please submit one form per dog, or provide the same details about the other dogs in the 'Additional Clinical Comments' section if easier, for example: "I also refer the following patient to 'Dog Behaviour Help': Fido, 3-year-old Jack Russel Terrier, male, neutered, 10kg, food intolerance to chicken." Please also upload this dog's veterinary history.
