This policy outlines the limited and controlled use of artificial intelligence (“AI”) by Dog Behaviour Help. It applies to all users of this website and all clients engaging in Behaviour Consultations or Dog Training Services.

I am committed to ensuring that all clinical and behavioural decisions are made exclusively by me, a qualified CCAB, and never by AI systems.

AI may be used only for the following administrative and non-clinical purposes:

  • Creating or formatting educational materials

  • Proofreading or structuring text

  • Supporting administrative operations such as scheduling or email drafting

  • Processing non-personal, anonymised analytics data from the website

AI is never used to make case decisions or behavioural recommendations.

AI is not used for any clinical or behavioural matter, including:

  • Behavioural assessment, diagnosis, or case analysis

  • Development of behaviour modification plans

  • Interpretation of behaviour or medical history

  • Reviewing referral documents or veterinary notes

All behaviour work is carried out solely by me, based on my professional qualifications and standards.

3.2 Dog Training Services

AI is not used for:

  • Designing training plans

  • Assessing a dog’s behaviour or training needs

  • Providing training recommendations

Training advice is always based on direct professional judgement.

4. Data Protection and Confidentiality

  • AI systems are never provided with identifiable client information, behavioural reports, or consultation records.

  • Only anonymised, non-specific information may be processed using AI.

  • All AI use complies with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.


5. Review and Accuracy

AI-assisted content is verified and edited by me prior to being used. AI outputs are not relied upon without human review.
